Accrual ExpensesThe Accruals function is used to adjust accounts for payments or invoices you paid in arrears, for example telephone, gas and electricity bills. This function allocates the payment over a specified number of months. The expense spreads over several periods rather than being posted in just one month. Transactions will be transfers automatically to the relevant general ledger account when you run Month-End process with Post-Accruals option. After the accrual posts for the final month, the estimated value automatically reverses from the general ledger account.
